General Information

This internship position will run from Sep 8th - Dec 11th with the possibility of extension. We are offering a pay of $10 per hour for up to 24 hours per week. Below are the requirements and descriptions for the role. Please read through all of the descriptions and apply if you meet the requirements. 

Overview

Reach Records is looking for a Marketing Intern to support digital strategy, social content, and release operations across our roster. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply online, fluent in culture, and curious about how modern music marketing actually works — from DSP pitching and metadata to social calendars and community engagement. The intern will work closely with the marketing and digital teams to support campaigns, content, and the day-to-day operations that bring Reach releases to the world.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the management of artist and label YouTube channels, including playlist curation and video performance optimization
  • Support release operations by organizing assets, managing metadata and rights in CMS, and helping ensure timely delivery to digital platforms and physical manufacturing
  • Manage smart links and link analytics across digital content and campaigns
  • Help optimize DSP tools for artists, track streaming analytics, and support pitching efforts to editorial curators
  • Contribute to award show submissions for GRAMMY, Dove, Stellar, Libera, and others
  • Assist with posting social content across platforms and help maintain social calendars and content timelines for Reach and artist channels
  • Create and edit organic content for Reach and artist socials, with an eye for short-form trends and culture-forward execution
  • Engage thoughtfully with followers, foster positive artist communities, and surface insights from comments and conversations
  • Contribute social strategy ideas and bring trending concepts to the team for testing
  • Support email marketing efforts, including calendar maintenance, copy contributions, and campaign performance analysis
  • Help maintain website content, support podcast promotion, and assist with general digital content optimization
  • Compile reports on social, streaming, and campaign performance, and reflect on key learnings throughout the internship
  • Provide general marketing support across launches, campaigns, and ongoing initiatives
Qualifications
  • Strong interest in music marketing, digital culture, and faith-rooted, artist-driven brands
  • Familiarity with major social platforms, short-form content trends, and DSP ecosystems (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube)
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in hip-hop, gospel, worship, or Latin music is a plus
  • Must provide your own computer and smartphone
  • Must be located in Atlanta or able to relocate, with reliable transportation
  • Must be available at least 24 hours per week during business hours (9–5pm)
