Description - Your Essential Responsibilities
  • Conduct a range of routine and intricate clinical tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-adhering to established procedures.
  • Ensure the reliability of results by scrutinizing for accuracy, addressing discrepancies, and performing regular maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
  • Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing as required.
  • Thoroughly document lab procedures, mentor new staff members or students, and help maintain high laboratory quality standards.
  • Uphold a clean, secure work environment and comply with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
Education Requirements
  • Earned a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or possess an equivalent allied health degree, plus readiness for ASCP/AMT certification.
Certification Essentials
  • Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.
  • Maintain your certification throughout the duration of your employment.
