The Amazon Music Library Service Primitives team is looking for a passionate, innovative, and results-oriented backend Software Development Engineer to help us reimagine the library primitives and experiences for customers, unlocking new features and empowering customers to share their music with friends. As a Software Development Engineer on the Amazon Music Library Primitives team, you will be responsible for systems that power the library experience for millions of customers. You will work with a team of high-caliber engineers to create new scalable systems to manage the diverse set of customer features. Through experimentation, you and your team will solve for an optimally engaging music experience by delivering content seamlessly and help customers interact with their playlists in easy and intuitive ways. We use off the shelf AWS products such as EC2, ECS Lambda, EventBridge, S3, DynamoDB and CloudWatch.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
