As a Cook at Nifty Fifty’s, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients and crafting meals to provide our guests with high-quality food. Your role is vital in ensuring an exceptional meal experience for our guests. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prep, set up, and work the grill station
  • Maintain product presentation, quality, portion, and cook time standards
  • Practice sanitary and safe food handling in accordance to state board of health regulations
  • Slice and chop meat, cheese, & other necessary food products
  • Maintain proper food inventories in both the station and walk-in & freezer
  • Communicate with servers/cashiers in a professional manner regarding customer orders
  • Clean and sanitize the work area throughout the shift
  • Clean, sanitize, and turn off equipment at the end of the night
  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects
  • Other additional tasks management may need assistance with

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Ability to place items on high and low shelves
  • Ability to stand for long periods of times
  • Capable of using knives, slicing equipment, and other preparation materials
  • Carry objects up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to wipe high and low shelves, pick up debris off the floor, sweep floor in station
