Position Description: Job Summary
To expand the museum visitor experience by offering exceptional customer service for The Baker Museum retail store and Hayes Hall Jewelry Counter.
Supervises: N/A
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
~ Manage financial transactions, cash count, debit and credit card transactions.
~ Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels, merchandise adjacencies and presentations; signing, and assortment; ensure selling floor is adequately stocked.
~ Ensure consistent compliance with visual merchandise direction and organization brand guidelines.
~ Observe safety requirements. Report safety issues and items requiring work orders to Supervisor or Safety & Security.
~ Work effectively with all Artis-Naples team members.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Experience, Competencies and Core Values
Education/Experience
~ High school/GED
~ Two years of retail selling experience.
~ Highly proficient computer skills with Windows and MS Office
~ Knowledge of and/or interest in visual and performing arts preferred. Enthusiasm for museum stores and their role in the retail space is a must.
