Job description

[ARTE MUEUM]

ARTE MUSEUM is an immersive media art exhibition space presented by d'strict, acclaimed for creating the public media art 'WAVE' at COEX in Korea. Exhibits at the ARTE MUSEUM center around the theme 'ETERNAL NATURE', reinterpreting various elements and spaces in nature as immersive media art. The artworks, brought to life through the fusion of various digital media technologies and visual creativity, capture nature's eternal attributes and realistic presentation, allowing visitors to experience nature unconstrained by time and space.

ARTE MUSEUM is a global exhibition brand that launched its first venue in Jeju, South Korea, in September 2020. Since its inception, ARTE MUSEUM has extended its reach to major cities around the globe, establishing itself as a popular exhibition with a cumulative total of five million visitors. It has also won several global design awards, including the iF Design Award.

Join the team at ARTE MUSEUM Las Vegas, d'strict's first media art museum in the US. As the brand expands to a second US location — ARTE MUSEUM Santa Monica, opening November 27, 2026 — this role will play a key part in supporting that growth.

Position Title: Sales & Marketing Manager

Employer: ARTE MUSEUM Santa Monica

Reports To: General Manager

Sales & Marketing Manager Position Summary

We are looking for a strategic, results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to lead and grow our sales and marketing initiatives across ARTE MUSEUM's US locations, including the upcoming Santa Monica opening on November 27, 2026. This exempt-level role owns the full sales and marketing function — from strategy and budget to execution and team leadership — and sits at the intersection of revenue growth, brand management, guest experience, and partnership development. It is ideal for a seasoned leader who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and knows how to translate strategy into measurable results.

Sales & Marketing Manager Responsibilities

Strategic Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute the annual sales and marketing strategy in alignment with revenue, attendance, and brand growth goals, including plans supporting the Santa Monica launch
  • Identify, negotiate, and secure new business, group sales, and strategic partnerships
  • Set pricing, promotional, and packaging strategy in partnership with senior leadership
  • Own revenue targets and budget accountability for sales and marketing initiatives
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making for senior leadership

Marketing Strategy & Brand Management

  • Develop and lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, PR, and traditional channels
  • Own brand positioning and ensure consistency across all guest touchpoints, including the new Santa Monica location
  • Manage the marketing budget and allocate spend across channels to maximize ROI
  • Direct content strategy, social media presence, and public relations efforts, managing agency and vendor relationships as needed
  • Track, analyze, and report on marketing KPIs (traffic, conversion, cost of acquisition, campaign performance)

Event Strategy & Execution

  • Oversee the planning, budgeting, and execution of internal and external events, ensuring brand alignment and a high-quality guest experience
  • Lead cross-functional coordination with Marketing, Operations, Systems, and other internal teams
  • Provide leadership, escalation support, and on-site oversight for high-profile or complex events

Partnership, Vendor & Team Leadership

  • Serve as the primary strategic contact for key partners, corporate clients, and global online travel agencies (OTAs); negotiate contracts and manage ongoing relationships
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, tourism boards, and OTA partners across current and new markets
  • Hire, train, mentor, and supervise sales and events staff, including coordinators and seasonal team members
  • Serve as the escalation point for guest inquiries related to ticketing, purchases, date changes, and refunds

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field required; MBA a plus
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in sales and marketing, including significant experience in a leadership or management capacity, preferably within tourism, hospitality, entertainment, or the attractions industry
  • Demonstrated track record of developing and executing sales and marketing strategies that drove measurable revenue growth
  • Strong analytical skills; high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, with experience using CRM and marketing analytics platforms
  • Proven negotiation and partnership development skills, including direct experience managing OTA relationships
  • Strong people-management skills with experience hiring, developing, and leading a team
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed, and to travel between Las Vegas and Santa Monica as business requires
  • Ability to understand and articulate exhibition content and brand story effectively to diverse audiences and stakeholders

Why Join Us

  • Be part of a first-of-its-kind immersive art experience in the US
  • Work within a globally expanding brand with a passionate, creative team
  • Contribute directly to the growth and guest experience of a landmark its newest Santa Monica location

Benefits

  • Medical and Vision insurances fully paid by employer
  • 401(k) with employer matching
  • PTO/PSL
  • 20 complimentary museum tickets per quarter

ARTE MUSEUM Santa Monica is an equal opportunity employer.
