About: Join Medical University of South Carolina in Florence and become part of a growing, patient-centered Urology team where you’ll work alongside experienced APPs and well-known, highly respected physicians in a collaborative and supportive environment. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a well-established practice that values teamwork, clinical excellence, and work-life balance, while making a meaningful impact in a thriving community setting within the Pee Dee region.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with current licensure or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina.

  • Currently licensed (or eligible) in the state of South Carolina as a Physician Assistant by the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners or as a Nurse Practitioner with the SC Board of Nursing.

  • Requires certification in BLS

  • APRN or PA must maintain licenses, certifications, CNEs/CMEs, etc. as required by applicable policies and state law – put this under required qualification

  • DHEC and DEA license

Position Highlights:

  • Monday – Friday 8AM-5PM (hours may vary depending on Physician’s schedule)

  • No Call

  • Mix of Inpatient and Outpatient (18 years - death)

  • Evaluates and treats on the basis of history, physical examination, radiological, laboratory, and other diagnostic test results pursuant to the practice agreement or scope of practice guideline

  • Initiates referrals to other health care provides, and/or consults with the attending physician or the collaborating physician

  • Documents and bills for direct care provided

  • Potential to precept students at MUSC enrolled as an advanced practice provider student; and facilitates the learning of other new team members
