Job Description

The LPN provides direct patient care and works with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients in an office based setting. There will be times that the LPN may need to assist with front office duties, this will not be their main job requirement only if the practice is short staffed. The LPN will be working with an MA, receptionist and ultrasound technicians.

This LPN WILL be doing phlebotomy and injections, but not IVs. This job requires chart prep, taking patient history and vitals, assisting with procedures and contacting patients results and medication changes.

Qualifications

Qualifications

-Needs to be able to work independently!
-LPN state license required. (At least 2-3 years as an LPN)                                       
-Minimum 1+ years' experience in OB nursing experience in office environment preferred but will take from the hospital/physician office as well
-Must maintain CPR certification..

-Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
-Compassion for the patients and their families.
-Quick decision-making and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to work well as part of a healthcare team.
