Job description

General Summary:
Multiquip Inc. is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A Driver & Warehouse Associate to support daily operations by shuttling flatbed trailers between company lots and the loading dock and assisting with various warehouse duties as needed. This dual-role position is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values teamwork, precision and accountability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Transportation & Trailer Shuttling
Transport trailer mounted generators and other towable product to and from customer locations.

Safely operate a single-axle truck with a 27 ft. trailer to transport product between local warehouses.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
Ensure compliance with DOT safety regulations and company transportation policies.
Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required.

Warehouse Support & Material Handling
Assist warehouse team with receiving, staging, storing and shipping materials and equipment.
Operate forklifts, aerial lifts and cranes safely (certification required or ability to obtain).
Perform cycle counts, inventory control tasks and participate in warehouse audits.
Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements.
Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
Valid Texas Class A CDL with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
Must possess a current DOT medical card.
Minimum 1–2 years of professional driving and warehouse experience preferred.
Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving, organization and communication skills.
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Familiarity with SAP, RF scanners and WMS platforms is a plus.

Certifications & Requirements:
Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain)
Aerial Lift and Crane Certification (or ability to obtain)
Must complete a DOT-compliant application and pass all required pre-employment screenings

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

This position is based in a non-climate-controlled warehouse with frequent exposure to extreme heat or cold depending on the season.
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
Requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching and climbing ladders throughout the shift (8–10 hours/day).
Frequent use of hands and arms for handling, reaching and operating equipment.
Must be able to operate safely in an environment with loud noise, moving machinery and exposure to hydraulic fluids, gas, diesel fuel and industrial cleaning agents.
Hearing protection and PPE may be required based on operational conditions.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
  • Pay wage: $25.00-$35.00/hour DOE
