Job description

Our client is a fast-growing, founder-led company in the premium travel and lifestyle space. As the business enters its next phase of growth, they are looking for a President of Sales & GTM to scale a world-class commercial organization. This is a rare opportunity to join a founder-led business at an inflection point and build the sales engine and go-to-market strategy that will define its next stage of growth.

Position Summary

The President of Sales & GTM will take full executive ownership of the sales organization and go-to-market strategy, leading all Account Executives and future sales leadership while building sales strategy, forecasting, revenue operations, sales enablement, hiring, coaching, compensation planning, CRM discipline, and pipeline management. This is a builder role for a driven, hands-on leader who wants to create sales infrastructure, culture, and process, not someone looking to manage an already-mature team.

This role reports directly to the Founder & CEO, partners closely with leadership on overall go-to-market direction, and sits on the executive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop the entire sales organization
  • Build a high-performance, accountability-driven culture
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop top sales talent
  • Develop future sales managers and team leads

Go-to-Market & Revenue Strategy

  • Partner with the CEO and leadership team to shape and execute overall go-to-market strategy
  • Translate company growth goals into a scalable, repeatable commercial motion
  • Continuously evolve the sales approach rather than "set it and let it run"

Revenue Operations

  • Own forecasting accuracy and build executive reporting/KPI dashboards
  • Improve pipeline visibility and inspection cadence
  • Establish operating rhythms: pipeline reviews, forecast meetings, QBRs, performance reviews
  • Ensure CRM discipline and data integrity across the team

Sales Enablement

  • Build onboarding and ongoing training programs from scratch
  • Develop a standardized sales methodology and qualification framework
  • Create playbooks for every stage of the sales cycle
  • Improve talk tracks, objection handling, and negotiation strategy

Commercial Execution

  • Increase sales productivity and quota attainment
  • Improve conversion across every stage of the funnel
  • Drive a proactive, disciplined selling culture across the team
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve sales efficiency

Organizational Development

  • Design compensation plans and career progression paths for Account Executives
  • Implement performance management systems
  • Build an organizational structure that can scale well beyond current headcount

Requirements

Essential

  • Bachelors Degree in relevant field
  • 7-10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, ideally within high-growth or venture-backed companies
  • Experience leading teams of 15-20+ quota-carrying Account Executives
  • Track record scaling a sales organization through a significant revenue growth stage
  • Experience building sales infrastructure from the ground up: forecasting discipline, enablement programs, coaching frameworks, and compensation design
  • Background in SaaS, technology, or another high-growth, digitally-driven industry
  • Strong executive presence, analytical rigor, and financial acumen
  • Comfortable operating directly alongside founders in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

Preferred

  • Experience in a founder-led or venture-backed company during a rapid scaling phase
  • Familiarity with modern RevOps tools and AI-enabled sales technology
  • Experience with a premium, luxury, or high-net-worth customer base

Benefits

Base Salary Range: $175,000 - $225,000 USD annually

Incentives: Variable compensation paid quarterly, tied to team and revenue attainment (attractive OTE)

Benefits Include:

  • Full healthcare, dental, and vision coverage
  • Paid time off
  • Relocation assistance available
  • Opportunity to scale and lead a business during growth
