Job Description

We are seeking a sharp, data-driven professional to join our Commercial Forecasting team. This role contributes to high-impact client engagements, shaping strategic decisions for global pharmaceutical and biotech organizations. The ideal candidate combines strong forecasting expertise with leadership skills, and thrives in fast-paced, client-facing environments where data is transformed into actionable business insights.

Qualifications
  • 6–8 years of experience in pharmaceutical forecasting (or Master’s with 4–8 years).
  • Hands‑on expertise with Excel‑based forecasting models and SQL (experience with Redshift/Databricks preferred).
  • Proven experience with both long‑term and short‑term forecasting cycles for inline and pipeline assets.
  • Familiarity with IQVIA datasets, clinical trial databases, and other secondary research sources (Clarivate/DRG, Thomson Reuters, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities

Project Management & Forecasting

  • Lead and coordinate complex client engagements, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
  • Construct, maintain, and optimize forecasting models across client portfolios.
  • Develop, validate, and document key forecasting assumptions, analogs, and market dynamics.
  • Generate forecasts, analyses, and actionable insights that support clients’ strategic and financial goals.
  • Apply effective project management practices to track deliverables, manage resources, and ensure client satisfaction.

Strategic Insights & Market Analysis

  • Conduct robust competitive assessments to inform brand planning, forecasting, and lifecycle management.
  • Perform in-depth secondary research and integrate with primary research, syndicated data (e.g., IQVIA, DRG), and market knowledge to derive disease, patient, and market segment insights.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, highlighting their implications for business strategy and decision-making.
  • Leverage diverse data sources (clinical, syndicated, real‑world evidence) to refine and substantiate forecast assumptions.
  • Operate effectively as part of a global team, actively contributing to client discussions and helping validate strategic assumptions.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Market Research and cross‑functional client teams.
