Senior Imaging Service Engineer (Contract)

Location: Chicago, IL

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Imaging Service Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Philips Healthcare and Siemens Healthcare imaging systems. Candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide top-tier service and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair advanced imaging equipment and systems at client sites.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues related to imaging devices.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers and junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R amp;D, sales, and customer support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Document service activities, including detailed reports on repairs, maintenance, and customer interactions.
  • Stay current with the latest imaging technologies and industry trends to provide expert advice and solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all service activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in servicing imaging equipment or related technical fields.
  • Strong knowledge of imaging hardware, software, and networking protocols.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
