Join the fast-growing Amazon Gift Cards Design team, where we create innovative designs for electronic and physical gift cards, packaging, marketing and product design. We are seeking a conceptual and strategic thinker and visual storyteller to elevate our gift card experiences. As a Multimedia Designer, you will design gift cards, support product enhancements with compelling visuals, and bring ideas to life through animation and video. From concept through final delivery, you will own end-to-end creative across product updates, gift card design, and marketing campaigns, producing polished, production-ready work that creates joy and delight for customers worldwide.
You are an organized self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and continuously seeks ways to improve, optimize, and test new experiences, including integrating AI into the creative pipeline. You bring a strong attention to detail and a customer-first design mindset across every touchpoint. As a multimedia designer you excel at collaborating with designers, product managers, marketing & business leaders while adhering to Amazon's principles and brand guidelines. You'll showcase your expertise by inspiring new creative directions, using data and insights to tailor designs for maximum impact, and crafting visuals that captivate global audiences.

- Apply strong illustration and visual design skills to develop compelling static and motion assets, leading and pitching innovative ideas that push creative boundaries.
- Create storyboards, sketches, illustrations, and propose new concepts informed by creative direction, trend research, and customer insights.
- Leverage AI tools and generative design workflows to accelerate ideation, explore visual directions, and optimize production efficiency across the creative pipeline.
- Build and maintain scalable Figma templates and component libraries that streamline design-to-production workflows and enable cross-team collaboration.
- Collaborate with creative teams to evolve concepts into compelling motion designs, branded videos, and multimedia experiences that drive visual storytelling.
- Optimize and own design templates and the production pipeline to support fast-paced turnarounds and maintain efficiency across illustration, animation, and video.
- Oversee and maintain best practices for the global Gift Card design and motion style guide, ensuring consistency and long-term creative vision.
- Generate fresh ideas and actively engage in constructive critique sessions with professionalism and respect.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, maintaining ownership of deadlines and ensuring pipeline deliverables stay on track.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of design experience
- Have an available online portfolio
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suit applications, with high proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat using macOS
- Experience in visual design expertise with ability to produce fresh, simple, elegant and exceedingly usable layouts and interactions and iconography
- Experience in Figma, including building templates, component libraries, and scalable design systems.
- Fluency in best practices for animation, motion graphics and storyboarding
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with e-commerce, search, social, and other major application types and their UX patterns
- Experience creating services and applications with multiple user touch points on different platforms and devices

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
