Job Summary/Description:

Are you a morning person who thrives on the adrenaline of live broadcasts? We’re looking for a bilingual powerhouse to join our team in Atlanta as a morning show Anchor/Producer. If you’re ready to launch a new morning show and grow a massive digital presence, we want to talk to you.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

- Anchor live morning newscasts with energy, authority, and authenticity, connecting with our Georgia audience from the first "good morning."
- Write and support the production of compelling newscasts and special shows that keep viewers informed and engaged.
- Drive our digital growth by creating content that lives beyond the broadcast think streaming, social, and web.
- Use your editing skills (Edius, Premiere, or Final Cut) to turn raw footage into high-impact visual stories.
- Maintain a deep working knowledge of Georgia current events and community issues to ensure our coverage is always relevant and local.
- Use your native-level Spanish to provide seamless English-to-Spanish translations, ensuring our message hits home with every viewer.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- On-camera presence: You have proven experience anchoring news and know how to command the screen with confidence and empathy.
- Production powerhouse: 2+ years of experience producing newscasts with a track record of solid news judgment and journalistic ethics.
- Bilingual mastery: You are a native Spanish speaker with professional-level proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
- Technical toolkit: You’re comfortable navigating and editing software like Edius or Premiere Pro to get the job done.
- Research rigor: You have strong news research skills and a relentless drive to uncover the "why" behind the story.
- Team-first attitude: You’re a positive collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can laugh through a technical glitch.
- Road-ready: You have a valid driver’s license and the flexibility to cover the news wherever it happens.
