Description Summary
Answer calls, provide support to faculty and students as it pertains to Multimedia. Provides support for campus events. Assist with the management of the Radio Station. May be required to open or close the office depending on scheduling.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assists with Helpdesk operations as it pertains to Digital media.
  • Open to learning MIS abilities
  • Answers questions from end-users.
  • Assists with resolution of Digital Media Projects and Requests.
  • Assists in the processing, compression and streaming of video and audio files for the College's Media Services.
  • Provide Multimedia support for campus events/functions, including sporting events and theatre productions.
  • Maintains audio and video production equipment for Multimedia staff use.
  • Assist with training for Campus Radio Station.
  • Performs other duties as by Director
  • Required to communicate - talk, hear, and write; written and oral communication
  • Eye-hand coordination
  • Sitting, standing, walking, reaching with arms and hands, kneeling, or crouching
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision
  • Lifting and carrying items up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to work independently, often unsupervised.
  • The ability to use Adobe suite is a PLUS (open to learning programs such as Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, etc.)

Qualifications
Applicant must be a current Morton College student carrying 6 credit hours in the Fall and Spring. One credit in the Summer. Good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.0. Must have Saturday availability (every third Saturday).
