Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) partners with prime contractors to provide professional services. Key service areas include Engineering Design and Documentation; Software Development and Testing; System Integration, Testing and Evaluation; Lab Management and Field Installation; Integrated Logistics Support, Training Development and Delivery, Multimedia Support, and Technical System Support.


Paas Software Engineer Job Description:


Performs tasks supporting PaaS-specific continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) integration activities including; PaaS software development and integration, PaaS testing preparation, setup, execution, and reporting, and  PaaS-specific system demonstrations as part of the implementation and process team.


Paas Software Engineer Required Skills:


·        Familiarization with designing, developing, integrating, and/or deploying products

·        Solid expertise in Linux development, integration, and troubleshooting

·        Proficiency in software development using languages such as Python, GoLang, Bash, Node/Javascript

·        Software integration and troubleshooting experience

·        Experience with Containerization and/or Orchestration, in one of the following: Kubernetes, KDE2, Docker, Podman, K3s, Open shift or similar technologies.

·        Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills 


Paas Software Engineer Desired Skills:


·        Experience with command and control systems

·        Experience with DevSecOps, agile methodologies, and tools

·        Experience in integrating software components

·        Familiarization with front-end and backend service development

·        Experience with test automation and continuous integration and deployment

·        Strong background developing/debugging


PaaS Software Engineer Additional Requirements:


·        Candidates must be able to obtain and keep a DoD Secret Clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen.

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with 3 years of professional experience.

·        Proactive/self-starter. Task driven with ability to work independently.

·        Team player that takes ownership and develops relationships that foster team success.
