SUMMARY:

The Marketing Intern will assist Gosnold’s Marketing Department with a range of digital, administrative, creative, and multimedia projects that support our outreach, branding, and community engagement efforts. This position will focus on enhancing efficiency within ongoing marketing initiatives, increasing visibility across multiple communication channels, and assisting with photography, videography, event coverage, and content creation efforts when needed. This is an UNPAID internship.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist with photography and video content by organizing files, supporting on shoots, and editing visuals for social media and internal use; individuals with photography or film experience may also contribute creative skills to support larger media projects.

· Support the Marketing Coordinator in planning and carrying out marketing initiatives, including coordinating and ordering materials needed for campaigns and events.

· Support the development of marketing materials (digital and print), including social media graphics, flyers, event promotions, and donor communications.

· Assist in producing content for social media platforms, recruitment materials, and other multimedia projects.

· Contribute creative ideas to improve engagement and expand Gosnold’s digital presence.

· Provide clerical and organizational support for marketing projects, including preparing materials for events, campaigns, and outreach initiatives.

· Assist the Community Outreach, Business Development, and Clinical Program teams by preparing marketing collateral and updating information across channels.

· Provide event support, including preparation, setup, staffing, and post-event follow-up.

· Represent Gosnold in a professional manner at events, when appropriate, under the supervision of the Marketing Coordinator.

· Perform other related duties as assigned to support the goals of the marketing department.


MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job.

  • Education: Current enrollment in, or recent completion of, a degree program in Marketing, Film Production, Communications, Public Relations, Media Studies, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field required.
  • Experience: Experience with photography, videography, or digital media production is required. Previous internship or project-based experience in marketing, communications, or social media preferred but not required. Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) preferred.
  • Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Valid Massachusetts driver’s license required.
