Job Summary/Description:  

KFVS is seeking a dynamic full-time Anchor/MMJ to join our award-winning newsroom. In addition to being an outstanding journalist with a strong on-air presence, we’re looking for someone who is an enthusiastic team leader and innovator. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, authenticity, and charisma both on and off the air. Our anchors help shape daily coverage, participate in newscast planning, and regularly produce compelling content for multiple platforms, including our growing streaming channels.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Anchor assigned newscasts
* Report and MMJ in the field, pitching and executing enterprise stories
* Find creative, engaging, and visually compelling ways to present news
* Report Live in the Field, as needed
* Contribute content across all KFVS digital platforms
* Assist in producing and appearing on KFVS streaming content, including live coverage, breaking news updates, and digital-first shows

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in journalism, Communications, or related field
* Videography and non-linear editing experience
* Ability to write, shoot, and edit attention-grabbing news content
* Excellent on-air presentation and communication skills
* Familiarity with newsroom software, including ENPS and Edius, is a plus
* A demo reel of your best work is required
