Job description

Keeley Companies is seeking an IT Field Operations Specialist to join our team. This individual is responsible for supporting day-to-day IT asset and onboarding operations and serving as the field-deployable resource for setting up, supporting, and decommissioning remote sites and offices. This role assists the Asset & Onboarding Manager, at his direction, with new hire and termination workflows and travels frequently to project sites and remote offices to install workstations, AV systems, network equipment, and end-user technology that keep field teams connected and productive.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist the Asset & Onboarding Manager, at his direction, with provisioning new hire devices, including imaging, configuration, asset tagging, software installation, and shipment to remote employees, or coordinating the same activities through our provisioning vendor.
  • Support termination and offboarding procedures for departing employees as directed by the Asset & Onboarding Manager, including device retrieval, secure data wiping, account deprovisioning, and accurate updates to asset records.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate hardware inventory and asset lifecycle records, helping ensure devices and peripherals are tracked from procurement through retirement, redeployment, and disposal.
  • Serve as the primary IT field resource for new jobsite and office deployments, traveling frequently to remote locations to stand up technology infrastructure end-to-end.
  • Plan, install, and configure conference room AV solutions, including displays, cameras, microphones, video conferencing systems, control hardware, and cabling.
  • Install and configure lobby, reception, and marketing TVs, including digital signage hardware and remote content management tools.
  • Set up workstations, monitors, peripherals, and end-user equipment at new sites so users are productive on day one.
  • Install, deploy, and provide hands-on support for network and connectivity equipment in field environments, including Starlink terminals, Cradlepoint cellular routers, switches, wireless access points, and firewalls, executing configurations and instructions provided by the Cloud & Infrastructure Hosting Administrator.
  • Connect end users to printers, multifunction devices, and shared resources, and provide hands-on basic technical support to jobsite and office staff.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with IT vendors, including device provisioning partners, network and ISP providers, mobility carriers, printer and copier vendors, and AV installation contractors, to coordinate scheduling, on-site access, and field-level technical details.
  • Work alongside vendors during installations and service visits, providing on-site coordination, troubleshooting input, and clear status updates back to the IT team.
  • Provide tier-1 and tier-2 end-user support for hardware, peripherals, mobility devices, and connectivity issues at jobsites and corporate locations.

Minimum Qualifications

    • Hands-on experience installing and deploying cellular and satellite connectivity equipment such as Starlink and Cradlepoint, following provided configurations.
    • Working familiarity with enterprise networking concepts (VLANs, Wi-Fi, switching, firewalls), enough to follow configuration instructions and troubleshoot basic connectivity in the field.
