At Sweet Candy Company, our mission is to Make Life Sweet. In Maintenance, that means keeping our manufacturing operation safe, reliable, and running at its best. As a Journeyman Industrial Electrician, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the electrical systems that power our production lines, helping us deliver quality candy products every day.
Sweet Candy Company is one of the oldest family-owned candy companies in the United States, with a long history of making taffy, chocolate sticks, cinnamon bears, and other confectionery favorites. We continue to invest in automation, reliability, and strong maintenance practices to support the future of our operation.

What You'll Do
  • Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain industrial electrical systems and production equipment
  • Support safe, reliable operation of manufacturing lines through fast, effective electrical troubleshooting
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and automated systems

  • Diagnose issues with motors, conveyors, pumps, controls, and automated equipment
  • Work with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motor controls, sensors, relays, contactors, and safety circuits
  • Partner closely with production, maintenance, quality, sanitation, and leadership to minimize downtime and improve performance
  • Follow all safety, GMP, food safety, and sanitation requirements

Why This Role Stands Out
This is more than a maintenance role. It is an opportunity to make a visible impact on equipment reliability, production performance, and continuous improvement in a growing manufacturing environment. If you want to apply your skills in a place where your work matters every day, Sweet Candy could be a great fit.
