Communications and Change Management Specialist

About the Unit

The Communications and Change Management Specialist leads the development and execution of strategic communication and change management initiatives that support business priorities and strengthens employee engagement. The specialist partners closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with the broader Americas strategy, governance, and key messages to deliver consistent employee experience.

The Communications and Change Management Specialist will report to the Head of Internal Communications and Change Management and will be based out of our Tampa, Florida office with a hybrid work schedule offered.

Responsibilities
  • Align local communication and change management initiatives with the broader Americas strategy and regional priorities.
  • Support the Business Unit SVP with Town Halls and communication activities, including toolkits, talking points, FAQs, and change narratives.
  • Develop communication plans, messaging frameworks, leadership materials, and employee engagement campaigns for strategic projects.
  • Assess change impacts of strategic projects and define action plans to drive employee adoption and minimize resistance.
  • Partner with business leaders, People & Culture, and project teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Measure communication effectiveness and change adoption through surveys, analytics, and feedback, and recommend improvements based on insights.
  • Manage internal communication channels, including intranet, newsletters, town halls, videos, and digital platforms.
Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field (required).
  • 7+ years of experience in internal communications and/or change management.
  • Proven track record of partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience in multicultural, matrixed environments.
  • Excellent writing, editing, storytelling, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience measuring communication effectiveness, employee engagement, and change adoption.
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter) preferred.
  • Experience with AI tools and digital communication platforms is a plus.
  • English: Fluent (native or advanced proficiency required).
  • Ability to travel occasionally within North America (up to 10-15%).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365; experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
