Job description

Nurse Residency Program

Copley Hospital, located in Morrisville/Stowe VT, is in search of new-grad nurses to join our Nurse Residency Program! Our Registered Nurse Residency Program (RNRP) is a 6-month bridge program that allows an RN with less than one year of experience to work directly with experienced nurses and transition into professional hospital nursing positions. The RN will be working directly with a preceptor to become proficient in the basic skills to be an RN. In addition to working with a preceptor, the RN will work with the Education Department in a series of classes, hands on skills sessions, and simulation experiences that will boost their knowledge base and skill set. This program is set to start mid-July.

This position is Full-time (PT option available).

As part of the program, a capstone project is required. The quality improvement project is chosen by the RNRP staff in collaboration with their unit leadership. The project must be related to the nursing profession, clinical practice or a change in clinical practice and must be evidence-based.

Compensation range: $32.09-54.81/hour. The posted salary reflects base compensation for candidates with limited experience. An offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data. An offer of employment may be outside of the posted range based on those factors.
