Job description

Job Title: Assistant Manager

Location: Huntsville, AL

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000/year (DOE)


What We're Looking For:


We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join the leadership team at a high-volume location operated by a large multi-unit franchise organization running a well-known national casual dining brand across the Southeast. This is a hands-on, shift-driven role supporting the General Manager across daily operations.


The ideal candidate has prior restaurant management or supervisory experience in a full-service environment, leads confidently from the floor during peak volume, and is looking to grow within a structured, systems-driven organization.


Key Responsibilities


  • Run shifts and lead the team on the floor through peak service periods.
  • Support the General Manager across front-of-house and back-of-house daily operations.
  • Uphold brand service standards, cleanliness, food quality, and speed of service.
  • Coach, train, and develop hourly team members in the moment.
  • Handle guest concerns directly and drive guest satisfaction results.
  • Execute opening, closing, and shift-change procedures accurately.
  • Assist with scheduling, labor management, and daily cash handling.
  • Support inventory counts, ordering, receiving, and product rotation.
  • Enforce food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and safety standards.
  • Help build a positive, accountable team culture with strong hourly retention.
