Job description

If you're a chef who wants creative input, leadership responsibility, and the opportunity to influence culinary direction, this role offers all three.

This is not a role where the Executive Chef simply follows an established menu. You will have a meaningful voice in seasonal features, menu development, recipe creation, culinary standards, and future menu direction.

The goal is to give the right chef room to be creative while maintaining the operational discipline required to deliver consistent results across multiple locations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead daily BOH operations across both locations
• Develop seasonal menus, features, and new dishes
• Maintain scratch cooking standards and recipe consistency
• Establish plating, preparation, and execution standards
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop kitchen leadership
• Build strong and accountable culinary teams
• Manage food cost, labor cost, inventory, and purchasing
• Create and manage kitchen schedules
• Analyze food cost and inventory performance
• Improve kitchen systems, efficiency, and profitability
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
• Work closely with restaurant leadership to elevate the guest experience
• Remain hands-on during service when needed, including prep, line, and expo

Required

• Culinary degree from an accredited culinary program
5+ years of Executive Chef experience
• High-volume, full-service restaurant experience
• Strong scratch cooking background
• Proven food and labor cost management experience
• Strong understanding of inventory and purchasing
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain culinary teams
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Comfortable leading from the front during service

Preferred

• Multi-unit culinary leadership experience
• Experience overseeing multiple kitchens or concepts
• Seasonal menu development
• Menu engineering
• Experience developing Sous Chefs and other culinary leaders

What You'll Receive

Lucrative base salary
• Performance bonus tied to food and labor cost performance
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance
• 401(k) with company match
• Paid time off
• Gym reimbursement
• Career advancement opportunities
• Meaningful creative influence over culinary direction

This Could Be the Right Move If...

You're an Executive Chef who has mastered the basics and is ready for broader responsibility without giving up the kitchen.

You enjoy scratch cooking. You develop people. You understand food and labor costs. You can step into service when necessary, but you also know how to build systems that allow your team to succeed without you doing everything yourself.

If that sounds like you, apply today!
