Job description

Lead with Purpose. Grow with Bonrue.

Join Us as Our Area Manager – Multi-Unit Operations

Who We Are

Bonrue Bakery is not your typical neighborhood bakery. Founded by Michelin-trained chefs and powered by Savory Fund, we've created a fast-moving, soul-filled brand rooted in European technique, precision hospitality, and rapid growth. With locations in St. George, Hurricane, and Springdale—and more on the way—we blend craft and efficiency to serve thousands of guests weekly, without sacrificing warmth or quality.

We are on the lookout for a people-first, operations-driven Area Manager who thrives in high-growth environments and leads from the front—with sleeves rolled up, standards held high, and culture at the core.

The Role

As Area Manager, you'll oversee multiple Bonrue locations and the restaurant leaders who run them. You'll guide day-to-day operations, coach and develop your GMs, optimize performance, and build a team culture that's as consistent as our croissants.

This isn't a desk job. You'll be in the field 4–5 days a week, shoulder-to-shoulder with the teams you lead—mentoring, evaluating, troubleshooting, and celebrating wins.

What You'll Do
  • Coach and support GMs to lead high-performing teams
  • Approve schedules, manage time-off requests, and ensure proper coverage
  • Maintain store-level financial discipline (labor, COGS, inventory)
  • Facilitate weekly leadership meetings, shift lead reviews, and 1:1s
  • Visit each store weekly, spending 2–3 days at a time working alongside teams
  • Conduct monthly operational evaluations and implement improvements
  • Partner with People Ops to recruit, hire, and retain talent
  • Build a bench of future leaders through training and development
  • Open new stores, lead launch operations, and ensure 60-day ramp success
  • Communicate weekly performance insights to brand leaders and the executive team
  • Instill a culture of humility, gratitude, accountability, and positivity
Who You Are

You might be a great fit if you:

  • Have 4–7 years of multi-unit leadership in food, beverage, or hospitality
  • Are driven by systems, obsessed with consistency, and coach with care
  • Lead with empathy—but hold the line on standards
  • Are detail-oriented, operationally strong, and financially sharp
  • Know how to inspire action across diverse teams
  • Are energized by growth, challenge, and building something that lasts
  • Have a valid driver's license, ServSafe certification, and are 21+
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a working knowledge of restaurant tech (POS, scheduling, inventory)
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary + bonus based on performance
  • Medical, dental, vision, life insurance + PTO
  • Full support from the brand team and Savory Operating Executives
  • Direct access to founders and senior leaders
  • Leadership role in a brand with momentum and purpose
