Regional Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities
  • Partner directly with Store Managers and District Leaders across 12โ€“20 stores
  • Support workforce planning, staffing stability, and employee retention initiatives
  • Handle employee relations matters, workplace concerns, and formal investigations
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, ADA accommodations, and FMLA processes
  • Analyze turnover trends and collaborate with operations leaders to improve retention and workforce consistency
  • Conduct regular in-store visits to assess engagement, training opportunities, and talent development needs
  • Assist with leadership development, succession planning, and internal advancement initiatives
  • Support consistency in compensation and workforce management practices across locations
  • Coordinate return-to-work processes and workplace accommodations with safety and operations teams
  • Maintain HR systems, records, and employment lifecycle documentation
  • Provide day-to-day HR guidance and coaching to field leadership teams
  • Serve as a highly visible, field-embedded HR partner, spending at least 65% of time in stores supporting operational execution
Regional Human Resources Generalist Requirements
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources Generalist or HR Business Partner experience in a multi-unit or multi-store environment
  • Background in grocery, supermarket, big box, or other high-volume multi-unit retail environments
  • Experience supporting 10+ store locations in a field-based or district-level HR capacity
  • Proven success supporting hourly frontline workforce populations
  • Strong employee relations and workplace investigation experience
  • Ability to influence operational outcomes related to staffing, turnover, attendance, and engagement
  • Comfortable working in a travel-intensive, store-facing role
  • Strong relationship-building skills with operational leadership teams in fast-paced environments
  • Experience with leadership development, coaching, and succession planning preferred
  • Prior Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, District Manager, or field HR experience is highly valued
  • Strong understanding of compliance practices related to ADA, FMLA, and workforce policy administration
