Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Multi Modality Technologist, you will perform diverse diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities (X-ray, CT, MRI), producing high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. Your versatility is key to efficient operations.
Every day you will expertly operate complex equipment, position patients for various examinations, and maintain records while ensuring patient comfort and safety. You will collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals for optimal imaging.
To be successful, you need exceptional technical proficiency in multiple modalities, a comprehensive understanding of diverse anatomical structures, and excellent problem-solving skills. Your adaptability, prioritization, and meticulous attention to detail will be paramount for accurate and timely diagnostic results.

  • Utilizes innovative customer service techniques to provide a positive patient care experience for the patient and their family. Screen patients for CT/MR safety prior to procedure performance.
  • Acts professionally in all dealings with internal and external customers to promote a working environment that focuses on the patient experience and not operational rivalries or roadblocks to care.
  • Perform complex tasks associated with the operation of X-ray/CT/MRI and related equipment to produce special radiographic images of specific body parts. Position patients using immobilization and protective equipment as required.
  • Assist radiologist with procedure. Administer contrast media as directed and per protocol.
  • Communicates effectively with patients and their families about the procedure to be performed in order to obtain information and to offer reassurance.
  • Establishes and maintains lines of communication with all other staff members and the Radiologist to ensure an effective and harmonious working environment.
  • Evaluate studies for technical quality, collate processed images and sequence of exposure and label appropriately.
  • May rotate shifts or be in an โ€œon callโ€ status as needed or directed by the organization.
  • May rotate between different campuses within Brazos Valley.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization.

  • Associates of Science in Radiology or Completion of an accredited Radiology Program, upon hire
  • Medical Radiographer: TX, upon hire and
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire and

  • Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association, upon hire
