Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Location: 3461 Wall Triana Hwy, Huntsville, AL
Shift: 2nd Shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating schedule (includes weekends)
Pay: $28.59$29.42/hour + shift differential

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial production equipment. This is a true multi-craft industrial maintenance role requiring both mechanical and electrical troubleshootingnot a facilities, grounds, HVAC, fabrication, or single-trade maintenance position. The ideal candidate is comfortable diagnosing equipment issues across multiple systems to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial manufacturing equipment using both mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Maintain and repair PLC-controlled equipment, motors, drives, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and repairs to maximize production uptime.
  • Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions.
  • Follow all safety procedures and accurately document completed maintenance work.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED and technical certification required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of industrial multi-craft maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, electrical systems, PLCs, AC/DC drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Ability to troubleshoot across multiple crafts rather than a single trade.
  • Willingness to work a rotating schedule, overtime, weekends, and in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
