Job description

Role- Multi-Cloud Solution Architect Lead – AWS & GCP

Location: Dallas, TX – Hybrid


Employment Type: Contract


Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Cloud Solution Architect Lead with strong expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to lead cloud architecture, DevOps, infrastructure automation, governance, and policy-as-code initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud solutions across AWS and GCP, along with strong expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, API Management, and cloud governance. The candidate should also be comfortable working with product teams, mentoring engineers, and communicating with senior stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures across AWS and GCP.
  • Architect and manage cloud compute, networking, storage, databases, Kubernetes, and application services.
  • Lead DevOps initiatives involving containers, Kubernetes, Docker, API Management, Lambda, and CI/CD platforms.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for multi-cloud resource provisioning and management.
  • Implement and manage Policy-as-Code (PaC) frameworks for cloud governance, compliance, and policy automation.
  • Develop policy automation and validation scripts using Python and Shell scripting.
  • Define and maintain cloud policies and configurations using JSON and YAML.
  • Develop and implement policy testing and validation frameworks across multi-cloud environments, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Configure and optimize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling, including GitHub Actions.
  • Partner with Product Owners and Service Owners to understand product objectives, requirements, and technical goals.
  • Contribute to product development lifecycle activities, from architecture and design through implementation and deployment.
  • Create, prioritize, and allocate technical user stories while mentoring engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Ensure cloud solutions align with enterprise security, governance, compliance, and architectural standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Create architecture diagrams and technical documentation using tools such as MS Visio.


Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience as a Multi-Cloud Solution Architect, Cloud Architect, or Senior Cloud Architecture Lead.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with AWS and GCP cloud platforms.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification is required.
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification is required.
  • Strong expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, API Management, Lambda, and GitHub/GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with Policy-as-Code (PaC) and cloud governance.
  • Strong knowledge of JSON and YAML for policy definition and configuration management.
  • Programming/scripting experience with Python and Shell.
  • Experience with multi-cloud policy management, testing, and validation.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, compliance, and best practices.
  • Excellent architecture, technical leadership, stakeholder communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing policies and governance across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Enterprise-scale cloud transformation or product development experience.
  • Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native application architecture and modern DevOps practices.
