Oakland, CA
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced MuleSoft Operational Lead to manage and support enterprise integration platforms built on MuleSoft. The ideal candidate will lead production support activities, ensure platform stability, monitor APIs and integrations, coordinate incident management, and drive continuous operational improvements. This role requires strong leadership, excellent troubleshooting skills, and hands-on experience with MuleSoft Runtime Manager, CloudHub, and API Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day MuleSoft platform operations and production support.
  • Manage and monitor MuleSoft APIs, integrations, and applications.
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of MuleSoft environments.
  • Coordinate L1/L2/L3 support teams for incident resolution.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues.
  • Manage critical incidents and major outage communications.
  • Monitor application health using MuleSoft monitoring tools and third-party monitoring solutions.
  • Deploy applications through CI/CD pipelines.
  • Perform environment management across DEV, QA, UAT, and Production.
  • Handle API lifecycle management using API Manager.
  • Manage Runtime Manager configurations and deployments.
  • Ensure SLA compliance for incidents, service requests, and problem management.
  • Collaborate with development teams for release planning and production deployments.
  • Implement operational best practices and automation wherever possible.
  • Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.
  • Support disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives.

  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of IT experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft administration and operations experience.
  • Experience managing production support in enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of API Management and Integration Architecture.
  • Experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release Management).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
