Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior MuleSoft Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. This role requires strong expertise in API development, integration architecture, and enterprise application connectivity within a large-scale environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement APIs and integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Build reusable integration frameworks, templates, and best practices.
Ensure API quality, performance, security, and reliability.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API and integration performance.
Create and maintain technical documentation including API specifications, integration designs, and data flow diagrams.
Support deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of MuleSoft solutions in production environments.
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to integration strategy initiatives.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

Strong experience designing and developing REST and SOAP APIs.

Experience with RAML and OpenAPI Specification (OAS).

Hands-on experience with API Manager, Runtime Manager, and DataWeave.

Strong programming skills in Java.

Experience working with XML, JSON, and related technologies.

Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD) and/or MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect (MCPA).

Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Knowledge of microservices architecture and integration patterns.

Experience creating RAML specifications and API-led connectivity solutions.

Strong experience with MuleSoft 4.x (4.2+ preferred).

Experience with Anypoint Platform 7.5+.

Hands-on experience writing and executing MUnit tests.

Experience integrating with external systems through APIs and web services.

Strong database experience using JDBC, SQL Server, and/or Oracle.

Exposure to DevOps practices and deployment automation tools.

Experience working with Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Anypoint Runtime Manager.
