Job description

Concrete Foreman Sunshine Staffing is currently seeking a Concrete Foreman we have an exciting opportunity for a Foreman focused in construction with successful and progressive experience infield planning and production of all types of work related construction as directed by the Superintendent. Responsibilities: Organize and plan the work with the Superintendent Direct oversight responsibility of time sheets for labor and equipment, as well as daily reports complete with quantities worked Review, maintain, and monitor crew's productivity and goals daily Enforce quality control and Company safety policies on all aspects of the work Follow the project construction process to ensure that work is completed on time Set Line and Grade from points established by others. Oversee proper installation of formwork, rebar, and embeds, sleeves, rough openings in masonry and other components from approved shop drawings / architectural / structural drawings (plans) if necessary.

Use of concrete pullers, screeds, concrete hand tools, bull floats, mixers, overlay products, decorative vertical stamping, mule, etc. Place, consolidate, and protect case-in-place concrete or masonry structures. Position, join, align, and seal structural components, such as concrete wall sections and pipes.

Oversee, assist, and inspect while using heavy machinery to dig up and grade existing material, form new concrete, and ensure everything meets OSHA standards Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials. Smooth and finish freshly poured cement or concrete, using floats, trowels, screeds, or powered cement finishing tools. Spray materials through hoses to clean, coat, or seal surfaces.

Lubricate, clean, and repair machinery, equipment, and tools. Build and position forms for pouring concrete, and dismantle forms after use, using saws, hammers, nails, or bolts. Receive work order and/or blueprints, assess job site for potential safety issues and problems Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications.

Coordinating various concrete groups and subcontractors and dealing with personnel issues. Supervise, assist, and inspect the construction of building projects to include constructing and repairing retaining and partition walls, insulated concrete forms, building concrete buildings, vertical stamping, overlays, etc. Provide assistance to craft workers, such as carpenters and concrete finishers.
