What is mulch?

Mulch workers are individuals who specialize in applying, spreading, and sometimes removing mulch in gardens, landscapes, and commercial properties. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that mulch is distributed evenly around plants, trees, and flower beds to help retain soil moisture, suppress weeds, and enhance the appearance of outdoor spaces. Attention to detail and knowledge of different types of mulch are important skills for this job.

Familiarity with landscaping tools such as wheelbarrows, shovels, and mulch spreaders is typically required. Attention to detail, teamwork, and effective communication help ensure projects are completed efficiently and to client specifications. These skills and qualities ensure high-quality results, safety, and customer satisfaction in landscaping projects.
