Muhlenberg High School has a vacancy for a Co-Ed Water Polo Assistant Coach.
Beginning Fall 2026 season (may begin off season workout assistance once Board approved)
Successful candidates should believe in the importance of the impact of extra-curricular activities in a child's K-12 experience and overall social, emotional and academic development.
Preferred:
โ€ข Prior coaching experience in scholastic water polo
โ€ข Bilingual candidates
Required:
โ€ข High School Diploma
โ€ข Current Lifeguarding Certificate
โ€ข Knowledge and experience in the sport
โ€ข Ability to work in a team setting
โ€ข Ability to give clear direction
โ€ข Ability to supervise and direct others
โ€ข Must be interested in supporting and working with all student-athletes
โ€ข Knowledge of PIAA rules and policies governing the sport
โ€ข Ability to work within the Blueprint/Action Plan of the Muhlenberg School District
โ€ข Clearly communicate to student athletes, parents, school officials and sport officials
Interested applicants must have current clearances, Acts 34, 114, 151 and 168.
The successful candidate will be required to participate in all training as required by PIAA.
