3rd shift Sunday - Thursday 11 pm to 7 am OT available
Mueller Aluminum Impacts Company and MicroGauge Inc., renowned leaders in precision engineering, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. Specializing in the production and machining of precision-engineered, close-tolerance metal impact extrusions, we take pride in delivering cutting-edge solutions across diverse markets. The two companies go to market as one, operating out of two plants. However, both companies uniformly stand at the forefront of innovation, consistently exceeding industry standards. Our products not only meet but surpass the highest benchmarks, providing our clients with a unique advantage - the ability to significantly reduce production costs without compromising quality.
As a Maintenance Tech , you will be responsible performs routine and emergency repairs, installations, and maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems, ensuring their safe and efficient operation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Inspects machines and equipment to locate cause of malfunctions.
  • Examines and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems.
  • Removes and replaces worn or defective parts of drive mechanism or hydraulic system.
  • Lays out, assembles, installs and maintains hydraulic systems and supports. i.e. air lines, PVC pipes, water lines.
  • Disassembles hydraulic systems and removes or replaces worn or damaged hydraulic components.
  • Sets up and operates metal working tools, i.e. hand threaders, machine threaders.
  • Performs preventive maintenance per work orders.
  • Possess basic understanding of "G" code and CNC controls.
  • Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
  • Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment.
  • Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, circuit-breaker and starters in control panels.
  • Tests continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components.
  • Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
  • Diagnose and replace or repair faulty equipment or systems.
  • Electrical Maintenance is a must
  • Pay is based on experience.
  • Weekends as needed to support production
