Job description

SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to support the inside & outside sales teams with layout drawings for customer projects. These could be for quote/BOM purposes only or for applications where submittal drawings are required. We want to add to the team people who are passionate, experienced, disciplined, self-motivated and have the desire & ability assist with the company’s continued growth.

 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.       Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, written/oral instructions.

2.       Learn basic knowledge of products and applications.

3.       Create 2D submittal and Bill of Materials (BOM).

4.       Enter quote docs and layout drawing(s) into SuperOffice and send customer quote.

5.       Work directly with customer to finalize design/layout.

6.       Work with Engineering on custom products and proper product usage.

7.       Review and submit purchase orders (PO’s), process quotes and enter information into Super Office.

8.       Perform other related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL Minimum 2 years of  CAD design experience, preferably in manufacturing
  • Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to work in a team as well as work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
