What You Will Be Doing
Test Engineer:
The F-35 Manufacturing Test Engineering (MTE) organization is hiring a E3 Test Engineer to support Final Assembly operation. This position directly supports the F-35 Factory Production line, which is a 24/7 operation. This position is a 1st shift 4/10A or 5/40 work schedule. Located at a facility that requires special access and requires a clearance as indicated below. This position is 100% on site.
The engineer must possess either broad Vehicle Systems expertise, including Power and Thermal Management, Hydraulic and Utility Actuation, Fuel, Electrical Systems and related domains. In addition, MTEs will assist with deployment of MTE computerized test equipment on the Integrated Factory Framework (IFF) LMI network. Missions systems experience is a plus. This position requires Interim Secret clearance or Secret Clearance to start.
Responsibilities for MTEs include:
Supporting Factory Operations from Forward through Final Assembly with system testing and troubleshooting dispositions.
Working as part of a larger team responsible for the testing of all F-35 Aircraft Systems & Sub-Systems
Test equipment design, development, test maintenance and training for users of test equipment
Authoring & maintaining complex System Checkout Procedures (SCOPs) for use by Production Operations.
Working with other MTEs and Enterprise IT to deploy MTE computerized systems on the Integrated Factory Framework LMI network.
