Job Summary:
As a key employee, the successful candidate will promote maximum service to the members by:
  • Facilitating the delivery of world-class member service through member-facing employees in the member support and energy services teams.
  • Striving for consistent implementation of MTE policies and procedures across the organization, while encouraging an atmosphere of continuous improvement in the cooperative's delivery of service.
  • Promoting a culture of the Ideal Team Player qualities and encouraging employees to create world-class member experiences in each interaction
  • Overseeing existing and recommending new MTE services in energy efficiency, demand response, and renewable energy programs that meet evolving member needs and align with the cooperative's mission.

Job Requirements:
  • Encompass the three virtues of the Ideal Team Player (Humble, Hungry & People Smart).
  • Four-year degree from an accredited college in a related field is required, with a master's degree preferred.
  • Ten (10) years of related progressive experience required, preferably in an electric cooperative.
  • Prior supervisory experience with strong leadership and communication skills desired.
  • A demonstrated working knowledge of utility billing systems, collections, member information systems, member relations, contact center technologies, process improvement, change management, and outstanding member service etiquette is required.
