About the Job

The Media Manager will have a passion for data-driven media decisions that will improve return. Leading and assisting across all Vendor/Co-branded Partnership media campaigns along with execution and analytics for key channels and campaigns. Should have experience working in or with a media agency, retail media experience, leading media reporting, and optimizing plans based on business outcomes. Bring strong interpersonal and collaborative skills along with the ability to prioritize work effectively and manage simultaneous projects. Will report to the Sr. Mgr. Media under the Media Omni-Channel Marketing Team at PetSmart.

What You'll Do: 
  • Analyzing Vendor/Joint Business Partners (JBP) campaign data to inform marketing decisions and improve ROI through our MMM + MTA attribution modeling
  • Work together with the Sr. Mgr. Media to develop and execute media campaign strategies to drive revenue (in-store and online) along with customer acquisition 
  • Managing Media agency handling execution and managing budgets effectively 
  • Monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics
  • Communicate concise data points, trends, and measurement strategies to a broad audience - from development and technical experts to CPG partners on daily basis
  • Understand the media marketplace - how consumer behavior is changing, what new technologies and partners are available, and how we can use them to improve performance or durability
  • Collaborate with Customer Analytics & Data Science Team to continually improve upon forecasting & reporting processes
  • Driving omni-channel growth for a major retailer

What You Need:  

  • 3+ Years of experience in media buying, media planning, media strategy, search & shopping demand driven channels (Retail Media Network experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of key marketing measurement fundamentals, KPIs including baseline v incremental performance measurement, marketing/media tactics, and marketing mix modelling
  • Track-record of using storytelling and data visualization to simplify complex concepts into executive-ready documents
  • Proven record of managing an agency or team along with analyzing campaign data to inform marketing decisions and improve ROI
  • Familiarity with performance media tools:
    • I.e. Google Ads, SA360, Google Analytics, Meta, DV360, CM360 & TradeDesk
  • Knowledge of web analytics or performance software (E.g., Google Analytics, GMP, Ipsos MMA, Analytic Partners, Neustar, LiveRamp)
