Children's Centre Thunder Bay works together with families, caregivers and a community of partners to make a real difference in the quality of life of children and youth. We are an accredited, not-for-profit organization providing treatment and support services for children and youth, from birth to 18 years, who are experiencing behavioural, emotional, developmental or social difficulties. The Centre is currently seeking to fill the following positions:

1 Temporary Full-Time Social Worker / Counsellor (MSW)
Union Position - 35 hours weekly
Up to 18 months in duration
Hourly: $39.24 - $47.74
15% in lieu of benefits

Responsibilities:

The Social Worker / Counsellor (MSW) carries out duties as a member of a multi-disciplinary team within various programs at Children's Centre Thunder Bay. Responsibilities include implementation of the Service Delivery Management System which includes case management, assessment, treatment, discharge planning and consultation and documentation. The Social Worker / Counsellor will provide clinical leadership and primary case management for the more complex and higher need, high risk adolescents and families in collaboration with other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
