Job Title: IT Help Desk Support Specialist
Location: Fort Collins, CO (80528) | Onsite
Employment Type: 6+ Month W2 Contract to Hire | No C2C or Sponsorship Available

Overview

Talent Groups is seeking an IT Help Desk Support Specialist to provide hands on onsite IT support in Fort Collins. This role will troubleshoot hardware and technical issues, support device deployment, onboarding and offboarding, asset management, conference room and A/V needs, and general IT operations.

The ideal candidate is customer focused, dependable and comfortable working in a fast paced environment. This role will also work closely with an external MSP and support the transition to a new IT support model.

Required Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of help desk, desktop support or customer facing technical support experience
• Working knowledge of Windows and macOS in a business environment
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint
• Basic network troubleshooting skills including WiFi, VPN and connectivity
• Experience with a ticketing or IT service management platform
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non technical users
• Strong organization, follow through and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple support requests
• Comfortable providing hands on onsite support
• Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 40 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or similar certification
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Jamf or other endpoint management platforms
• Experience working with an MSP or outsourced IT provider
• Experience supporting an MSP transition or IT environment migration
• Familiarity with identity and access management concepts
• Exposure to Microsoft Entra ID, Okta or similar platforms
