Job description

Maintenance Technician – Level 2

Our MSI Maintenance Team is looking for a level 2 maintenance technician to join their team. The ideal person will be safety minded and be a hands-on-problem-solver with prior knowledge in pneumatics, mechanical, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

Mission: Provide preventative and pro-active maintenance for production equipment per customer requirements, in a way that will allow for efficiency and on-time delivery of quality products.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment as directed.
  • Fabricate tooling and fixturing as assigned. Estimate costs of labor and materials, obtain competitive pricing, order the necessary materials, and complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Manage complex projects from ideas to successful completion and implementation into the production environment.
  • Maintaining tools and equipment in a safe, clean and proper working condition.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • A strong work ethic, ability to work independently, and collaboratively.
  • The ability to perform physical tasks and handle a variety of hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to diagnose and repair equipment
  • A team-player mindset with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • OSHA certification is a plus

This is a day shift position, Monday-Friday, some weekends may be required for special projects.
