BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY: Recondition and/or manufacture indexable cutting tools per instructions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Analyze prints, drawings etc. to determine dimensions and configuration of cuts, selection of cutting tools for the job and machine speeds and feeds. • Break down tools for weld prep. • Fixture and set up mill for repair. • Mill insert pockets using various cutting tools. • Use tool print specifications to hold tolerances. • Inspect repaired parts to ensure customer requirements are met. • Complete inspection reports and documentation as required. • Maintain a clean and organized work area. • Report to & communicate with Shop Supervisor. • Train others as needed • Other special duties as assigned. • Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose. • Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS What You Need: • High school diploma or the equivalent. • 2+ year experience with reading blueprints and using inspection equipment or equivalent • 2+ year experience with operating some type of manual milling machinery or equivalent Bonus Points If You Have: • n/a

Compensation starting at $ 17.88 - $27.47/hr depending on candidate location and experience.
The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
