Job DescriptionAbout the Role
At Takeda, we are committed to delivering transformative innovation to patients with neurological conditions. As a Global New Product (Planning) Lead, you will help shape the strategic direction of Takeda's Neuroscience pipeline by integrating scientific, commercial, and strategic insights to inform early product development and longterm disease area strategy.
This role offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of science and commercial strategy-partnering closely with R&D, global commercial teams, and crossfunctional experts to bring forward the next generation of Neuroscience therapies.
Your Responsibilities
  • Build and evolve longterm Neuroscience disease area strategies.
  • Conduct early commercial evaluations including opportunity assessment, competitive insight, forecasting inputs, and value driver analysis.
  • Partner with global scientific teams to shape early asset development plans and strategic narratives.
  • Drive crossfunctional collaboration across R&D, Medical, Access, and commercial regional partners.
  • Support governance and decisionmaking with highquality, evidencebased strategic recommendations.
  • Contribute to business development insights and assessments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MSc, PhD) in Neuroscience preferred.
  • 10+ years in strategy, new product planning, commercial, or related roles. Prior management consulting experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and ability to synthesize complex scientific and commercial information.
