Job description

Job Summary:
MSC Cruises, the world’s third largest cruise line brand, is expanding its eCommerce Product team in the USA. The eCommerce Product Owner will support day-to-day activity for the cruise booking flow of the website and collaborate with the prioritization of business needs to ensure alignment with the product roadmap.
Responsibilities:
• Follow roadmap of strategic initiatives to improve booking conversion rates and reduce customer friction throughout the entire booking journey.
• Support the enhancement lifecycle from concept, implementation, and adoption.
• Ensure follow through of A/B testing roadmap in collaboration with testing team, and report on results.
• Prioritize enhancement and product roadmap in collaboration with the ecommerce product team based on projected business impact.
• Communicate status, progress, and roadblocks on key features with ecommerce product team and direct supervisor.
• Oversee the logging, triaging, and testing of production bugs and issues in collaboration with IT
• Manage day-to-day business relationships with 3rd party providers, corporate and local teams, to ensure the delivery of high-quality functionality.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners, and counterparts in Geneva headquarters, to align efforts, share insights, and drive key initiatives.
• Engage with multiple business stakeholders to ensure all booking product needs are accounted for.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, marketing or a relevant subject and 3+ years related experience.
• Experience with Agile methodology, especially writing, reviewing, and grooming user stories and acceptance criteria
• Experience with QA testing websites desired
• In-depth understanding of technology and functionality required to enable seamless digital experiences across multiple devices and multiple delivery systems (such as reservation/inventory and CMS platforms).
• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and collaborative experience with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and pivot quickly as needed.
• Experience working with internal or external creative teams, technical and marketing partners.
• US Passport or US Permanent Resident
Preferred:
• Travel industry eCommerce experience a plus.
