Job Description

Our customer has developed an all-encompassing, custom operations platform in-house for use by all departments of the business, as well as an operator portal. The in-house application and operator portal are being re-engineered and re-developed. The new service-oriented solutions will be developed using C#/.NET MVC/SQL Server. The first phase of this project will focus on the operator portal and on an in-house tool, covering such features as quoting, and task management.ย 

We are looking for two .Net C# developers (senior and junior levels) who have experience building MVC web applications in .NET.


Duties & Responsibilitiesย 

  • Work with small development team transforming detailed specs and wireframes into HTML/CSS pages and a cohesive application
  • Develop high performance, high quality, scalable and easy-to-maintain code
  • Apply advanced design patterns & technologies (senior level)


Qualifications

Skills & Attributesย 

  • Strong Experience with C#, MVC, .Net 4.0+, Entity Framework 6.0+
  • Understand and apply standard object-oriented development techniques
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies (Scrum)
  • Strong background w/ Javascript frameworks (JQuery / Bootstrap)
  • Experience with Database systems, specifically MS SQL Server
  • Source Control experience (Subversion, Git, etc...)
  • Familiarity with HTML5/CSS3
  • Experienced .Net web developers with the ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently, as well as, part of a small development team, and manage their time across multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand business concepts and their impacts on development efforts, and the ability to communicate technical issues and engage in productive, thoughtful discussions about the implementation
  • A do-what-it-takes attitude and a personality that thrives in a fluid and ever-changing environment

Prior Experienceย 

3+ years of experience as a .Net web developer with high-level of expertise in Microsoft core web technology stack and related client-server technologiesย
