Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating nights, 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; schedule released 4-6 weeks in advance; includes 6-9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule; may float across facilities within Zone 4

Hours per Week: 36

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care across MS-Tele and specialty units
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry strips and respond to changes in cardiac rhythm
  • Administer and titrate heparin drips per protocol when required
  • Float flexibly between facilities and acuity levels within Zone 4 to meet patient needs
  • Document assessments and interventions accurately in EPIC
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including RT for ventilator and respiratory support
  • Serve as a dependable member of the shift team, stepping up as charge when needed
Education
  • Active RN license required
  • BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills
  • Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
  • MS-Tele clinical workflows and telemetry unit care
  • Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record
  • Experience with Alaris infusion pumps

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
