Job description

Anchor Fabrication MS has immediate openings for highly motivated individuals with a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Loading/unloading material
  • Inspecting and maintaining equipment for compliance with safety requirements
  • Corrects any safety issues prior to operating laser
  • Inspects parts per work in process inspection procedure and ensures they meet engineering specifications
  • Resolves quality and mechanical problems as needed
  • Prioritizes production to ensure that customer orders are completed in a timely manner
  • Maximizes machine run time and productivity 
  • Replaces nozzles and lens as required to ensure safe machine operation
  • Works from blueprints, engineering specifications and production schedules

WORK SCHEDULE:  MONDAY - THURSDAY 6 AM - 4:30 PM      PAY RATE DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE

Minimum Requirements:

  • Previous laser operator experience a plus
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs
  • Position requires ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to program machine to cut complex parts
  • Position may require bending, kneeling and stooping
  • Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors and chemicals
