Job description


The MRO Sales Representative is responsible for managing the entire maintenance and repair sales process, from prospecting to contract execution. This role requires a deep understanding of maintenance services and involves independently developing sales strategies, negotiating pricing, and ensuring that customer expectations align with business objectives. The representative acts as the primary point of contact for customers, leveraging market research and sales insights to drive revenue growth. By exercising discretion in structuring sales agreements and building strategic client relationships, the MRO Sales Representative plays a key role in business development and long-term profitability.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement territory action plans and sales strategies based on comprehensive market research and data analysis.
  • Exercise independent judgment in pricing negotiations, contract structuring, and sales tactics to secure profitable deals.
  • Identify and engage high-value prospects, schedule meetings, conduct on-site visits, and close deals through direct client interactions.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to final contract execution, ensuring business objectives are met.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to expand market reach and strengthen business relationships.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, proposals, and sales presentations to support strategic decision-making and revenue forecasting.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities to refine sales techniques and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., service managers, finance, and marketing) to align sales initiatives with company goals.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or a related field preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years of industry sales experience, preferably in MRO services or a technical sales environment.

  • Strong ability to analyze market data, negotiate complex sales agreements, and develop long-term client relationships.
