  • Travel: Up to 50% throughout the U.S. and Canada

Sirius Staffing is seeking an experienced Procurement Operations Specialist to support purchasing operations across multiple manufacturing facilities. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands plant purchasing, inventory management, and IBM Maximo and enjoys working directly with teams to improve processes and find cost-saving opportunities.

You’ll serve as a go-to resource for facility purchasing teams, traveling to different locations to provide training, solve purchasing and inventory challenges, and help teams get the most out of Maximo.

What You’ll Do
  • Support Purchasing Managers and facility purchasing teams across multiple manufacturing locations.
  • Travel to facilities to provide hands-on training, coaching, and purchasing support.
  • Help teams effectively use IBM Maximo for requisitions, purchase orders, inventory, and other purchasing activities.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve inventory management.
  • Support purchasing of MRO, maintenance, repair, and production-related materials.
  • Help facilities improve purchasing and storeroom processes and follow consistent best practices.
  • Work with plant teams and vendors to resolve purchasing, inventory, and supplier issues.
  • Use purchasing and inventory data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Build relationships with facility teams and encourage process improvements, even when those employees do not directly report to you.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or sourcing within a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on IBM Maximo experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of plant-level purchasing and inventory management.
  • Experience with MRO, maintenance materials, spare parts, or production-related purchasing is highly preferred.
  • A track record of finding cost savings and improving purchasing or inventory practices.
  • Experience training, coaching, or mentoring others.
  • Strong communication skills , the ability to influence & build relationships with different teams.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% throughout the U.S. and Canada.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
