Job Summary: 

At LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc., the Specialist I- Procurement (MRO) supports procurement of materials and services related to maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) to ensure timely purchasing and continuous production operations. This role assists with sourcing materials, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting purchasing activities under supervision. Working closely with maintenance and production teams, the specialist helps ensure essential materials are available to keep equipment and operations running efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the procurement of MRO items, including spare parts, consumables, tools, and maintenance supplies.
  • Register new vendors and maintain supplier information and banking details within the procurement system.
  • Create and process purchase orders (POs) in the procurement system in accordance with company procedures.
  • Track order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier data.
  • Assist in resolving basic delivery or quality issues with suppliers and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Support supplier communication and day-to-day coordination to ensure smooth procurement operations.
  • Assist with data entry and basic analysis to support purchasing activities and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field (internship or co-op experience preferred).
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes and supply chain concepts.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers.
